The Wee Gallery is a small gallery in the far north of Scotland. It is situated in Balnakeil Craft Village in Durness.
Balnakeil Craft Village was set up in the 1960's in abandoned MOD buildings. These were built in the 1950's as part of an early warning station during the cold war.It is now a thriving tourist destination with restaurants, artists and crafts people open for business from the spring until the beginning of winter.
The Wee Gallery is owned and run by professional artists Nicola Poole and Ludo van Muysen. It shows oils, acrylics and mixed media work by Nicola and woodturning by Ludo. The Wee Gallery is open to the public from April to October. The website is obviously open for business all year.
